Warren Carlyle has been tapped to direct and choreograph the forthcoming Broadway production of A Tale of Two Cities. The musical, featuring music, lyrics and a book by Jill Santoriello, will start rehearsals of July 14 (Bastille Day) and begin previews at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on August 19. Opening night has been set for September 18.

It's official. Warren Carlyle, the choreographer who created musical staging for Dancing in the Dark, concerts at Encores! and last fall's A Tale of Two Cities tryout in Florida, is signed as director-choreographer for the latter show's Broadway production.

Executive Producers Barbra Russell and Ron Sharpe have signed WARREN CARLYLE, to direct and choreograph Jill Santoriello's sweeping musical epic, "A TALE OF TWO CITIES" which will open on Broadway on Thursday, September 18th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street ? between 8th & 9th Avenues). Preview performances begin Tuesday, August 19th. Rehearsals begin Monday, July 14th, Bastille Day.
